As we approach December 1st, NYMEX futures pricing basically mirrors late-July pricing, with normal up and down variations during the four-month timeframe. Winter has arrived, here is today’s factors affecting what we may expect this winter.
Record production of natural gas continues. Gas in storage is at ample levels. Cold weather in the Northeast is expected on Thanksgiving Day continuing through early next week. Warmer weather is forecast for December 6 – 11, keeping a lid on any potential spike in pricing – for now. Sustained cold is needed to impact pricing going forward.
Electricity pricing remains high, demand is high — up 5% year on year.

Wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving. Attached is a short read, ”Blessings Abound” from a November 20th devotion that “says it all.” I thank God for His goodness to me since the day I was born. Special thanks always to Mom and Dad who loved me and gave me a life I do not deserve. I am blessed to be an American.
