As we head into Thanksgiving and winter heating season, natural gas futures are nicely positioned and as things currently stand, pricing looks favorable moving forward. Winter weather forecasts are calling for normal to warmer-than-normal temperatures for the Great Overtaxed Northeast along with periodic shots of frigid air. Futures markets can handle shots of cold weather although sustained cold can move markets significantly higher. I will keep you updated.
Fixed rate electricity pricing continues to be high, please contact me to discuss pricing options.
Wishing all of you a happy Thanksgiving. I recently was reminded of Governor William Bradford of Massachusetts, who in 1623 wrote America’s first Thanksgiving Proclamation. He set aside a specific day and time for citizens to honor God for His blessings. I thank God for His goodness to me and for the privilege of being born in America.
Regards,
John Thomas
