Natural gas futures and electricity pricing remain high as we begin winter heating season.  Futures jumped significantly today based on large gas storage withdrawal along with weather forecasts calling for much colder weather and higher heating demand over the next two weeks. Imagine that, cold weather forecasts for December having such an impact.

As mentioned over recent months we’re in uncharted territory as global conflict and supply concerns continue. Last thing we need is a colder than normal winter in the Northeast, with sustained periods of below average temperatures, that will drive pricing even higher. Same scenario in Europe will affect both Europe and the United States. Conversely, should average or above average temperatures occur we’ll be in much better shape.

Wishing all of you a happy Thanksgiving. I am grateful for the many blessings God has given me, none of which I am worthy. Privileged to be born in America. Recall my Dad saying how God had blessed him beyond anything he could ever imagine.  I feel the same as my father did.
