Electricity and Natural Gas Update – November 2020

Posted on 21 November 202021 November 2020 By pnccadmin

With winter upon us the good news is, there is nearly 4 trillion cubic feet of natural gas in storage for the nation’s winter heating season. This number is close to record-high, and barring any sustained cold here in the Great Northeast, both gas and electricity pricing should be reasonable this winter.  However as I say at the onset of winter every year, sustained cold will result in higher pricing near-term and most likely follow through the futures market throughout 2021.

I continue to advocate locking in your energy rates, best to protect yourself from potential price spikes. Please contact me with any questions regarding your contract/pricing status.
