August 2015 Electricity & Natural Gas Update

Posted on 4 August 2015 By pnccadmin

We continue to write same basic message – there’s plenty of natural gas both in storage and “on the pipelines” resulting in stable, lower pricing (attachment makes this clear). Locking in your gas supply price for two or three years is a “must do” in most utilities here in New York state. If you’re not locked you need to do it now.

Same for electricity supply – lock it now. You simply cannot risk seasonal price spikes that have seen utility prices soar to as high as 25 cents per KWH over last 18 months. And it’s not just summer price spikes we need to worry about, it’s also severe winter price spikes as well.

Continue to enjoy summer, here comes August.
