Attached gas futures pricing shows result of warm December weather — lower pricing. Warm weather combined with drop in worldwide oil prices has produced pricing far different from what we were experiencing last year at this time when we were in the grips of sustained cold. Will this continue? Winter has yet to show up here in the Great Overtaxed Northeast and when it does the market will react. Time will tell.
Electricity pricing is stable at this time. Again, lack of sustained cold has enabled this to happen and where pricing trends from here remains to be seen. It’s all about the temperatures moving forward.
Please accept our best wishes for a happy holiday season. We celebrate Christmas and the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior who is Christ the Lord.” How thankful we are.
